We are seeking dynamic professionals, including Chartered Accountants and experienced non-CAs, with a strong commitment to continuous learning to lead our Finance & Accounts function.

About the role

As a Manager of Finance and Accounts, you’ll be expected to oversee the outsourced finance and compliance function of our startup clients. Wherever required, you will be expected to actually execute what other team members cannot! You get to learn not just the traditional practices but also a comprehensive view of the emerging & trending areas of Startup Finance & Compliance.  

Office Location - 15th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore

Responsibilities

IMMEDIATELY

• Accounting of transactions in Quickbooks, Zoho Books, Tally

• Calculation and Processing of Payrolls using software such as Keka, RazoryPayX

• Computation of TDS, GST, EPF etc 

• Executing AP & AR, including follow-ups where required

• Periodic Reporting of transactions - Cashflow reporting, SaaS Reporting, Forecasting etc. 

ONCE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE

• Become the Single Point of Contact for the clients you manage

• Review of end-to-end client deliverables across all services we offer to the clients you manage

• Identifying and Pursuing upsell & cross opportunities

• Executing high-value items such as ESOP, Cap Table Management, Due Diligence, Valuation etc

• Assist in Tax Planning, Structuring & Optimisation

AFTER A YEAR OR SO

• Suggest process improvements - both for Zuna & our clients

• Train and Manage larger teams

• Setting up SOPs & Processes that will work by itself

• Help in automation & building the tech stack

Requirements  

• Sound understanding of accounting & taxation

• Have burning desire & ability to learn, unlearn & relearn

• Inclination towards tech. i.e, using new-age software and tools

• Strong communication & presentation skills

• Passionate to learn and solve complex problems.
