Your responsibilities
As Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by combining your technical expertise with strong customer engagement skills. You will support the entire sales cycle - from identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions to post-sale technical support - while expanding our presence in Spain & Portugal.
Proactively develop and expand our customer base in Spain & Portugal through acquisition and relationship management.
Collaborate with the sales teams to provide technical insights during pre-sales and sales activities, as well as with cross-functional teams such as product development, project management, after-market or marketing.
Provide expert consultation by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored technical solutions.
Identify and develop new market segments through competitive and market analysis.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, customer visits and visits to our test centres.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Aftermarket teams to align offerings with evolving market needs.
Management and leadership skills to be able to be promoted to management positions.
Your qualifications
A Master Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable technology-related field. The degree must be legally recognized in Spain.
A Master in Business Administration provides an interesting advantage.
3-5 years of professional experience in technical sales (B2B), application engineering, or a related field, preferably in a technical or industrial environment (experience in the Chemical industry, Cement industry or Steel market beneficial).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Spanish (native) and English, written and spoken; as additional languages Portuguese or German are an advantage.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
High customer orientation, self-motivation, and a willingness to travel.
Strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and a results-driven approach.
Willingness to travel (40% travel required).
