Key Responsibilities as a Manager:

Qualifications: 

• Degree qualified or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications e.g Professional Diploma in Compliance, PRMIA. 

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar consultancy environment or in a financial services company with a strong experience in risk or regulatory compliance; 

• Experience of the regulatory framework and working in a compliance/risk department of an authorised firm. 

Your Knowledge and Skills: 

• Knowledge of the financial services industry. Cross financial sector experience is an advantage; 

• Understanding of relevant key Risk & Regulatory issues; 

• Demonstrate ability to develop proactive and constructive recommendations; 

• Proficiency in operational processes and systems, with an appreciation of the concept of controls and risk management in a regulatory environment;  

• Ability to understand/interpret new and existing regulatory requirements;  

• Effective communication and report writing skills; 

• Strong time management and organisational skills;  

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team; 

• Quick to take and understand a brief;  

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and autonomy (think on one’s feet).
