Description
Responsibilities:
- Set targets, develop strategies, analyze data, and lead the team to achieve sales goals.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate sales staff and supervisors.
- Maintain high service standards, resolve complaints, and enhance the shopping experience.
- Monitor stock levels, oversee displays, and track product movements.
- Execute campaigns, manage promotions, and collaborate with marketing teams.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure proper cash handling.
- Prepare reports, track KPIs, and optimize performance.
- Ensure adherence to policies, legal standards, and store safety.
- Foster teamwork, resolve conflicts, and lead by example.
- Stay updated on product trends and train staff accordingly.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree can be a plus.
- 5–10 years of sales or sales management experience with a proven track record.
- Experience in managing a sales team and developing sales strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools) and sales performance metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Demonstrable success in achieving sales goals or quotas.
- Able to close high-value deals and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Experience in building and maintaining a network of potential clients or partners.
- Familiarity with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors (depending on the business sector).
- Ability to inspire and lead a sales team to exceed targets.
