Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Coordinator in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
