Overview
Brinkmann Constructors is seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Senior Digital Media Specialist to lead and execute digital marketing initiatives that elevate brand awareness, strengthen our digital presence, and support both external and internal engagement. This role will serve as a key driver of website strategy, digital content innovation, and employee engagement through intranet platforms, ensuring Brinkmann’s digital ecosystem reflects the company’s leadership, culture, and project excellence.
Responsibilities
Website Strategy, Content & Optimization
- Serve as primary owner of Brinkmann’s external website, ensuring it is modern, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices
- Lead ongoing website content strategy, including project portfolios, thought leadership, recruiting pages, and service offerings
- Manage site architecture, page creation, and UX enhancements to improve usability, engagement, and conversion
- Implement and maintain SEO best practices, including keyword strategy, metadata optimization, and technical performance improvements
- Partner with internal teams and team members on compelling digital storytelling including project highlights, employee stories, and recruiting campaigns
- Monitor website performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion rates) and continuously optimize based on insights
- Stay current with evolving web trends, accessibility standards, and user experience expectations to ensure Brinkmann remains competitive
- Oversee photography, video production, drone footage, and multimedia assets showcasing construction projects
- Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms
Intranet Strategy & Employee Engagement
- Work with communications coordinator/specialist on creative, engaging, and interactive content that fosters culture, collaboration, and communication across the organization
- Introduce innovative formats (short-form video, storytelling features, spotlight content, interactive posts) to increase employee participation
- Analyze intranet usage and engagement metrics to continuously improve adoption and effectiveness
- Partner with HR, leadership, operations and other departments to ensure timely, relevant, and impactful internal communications
- Champion best practices for internal digital communication to enhance transparency, connectivity, and company culture
Social Media Management and Optimization
- Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and mentions
- Assist in developing and executing social media content with internal staff and departments
- Track and report on key performance metrics and audience engagement
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Help maintain brand consistency across all social media communications
Internal & External Event Support
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong emphasis on website and intranet management and digital content strategy
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Website CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
- UX/UI best practices and website optimization
- SEO/SEM strategy and implementation
- Proven experience leveraging analytics to improve website and campaign performance
- Strong content creation skills (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, photography)
- Excellent project management and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience managing or optimizing corporate intranet platforms (SharePoint or similar)
- Experience leading website redesigns or digital transformation initiatives

Working Conditions:
- The Senior Digital Media Specialist work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
- This role requires regular office hours
