Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Real Estate in Uniondale, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will provide a welcoming presence, manage visitor access, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support daily operations while helping to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and building staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Serve as the primary front desk point of contact, greet and direct visitors, manage visitor access, and maintain professional communication with building occupants and management.
• Monitor entry activity, review credentials as required, and help maintain access-control procedures for the property.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and promptly communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
