Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Skyscraper, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and property staff while helping maintain an orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence throughout the location and communicate observations, concerns, and service needs promptly to property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
