Description
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in U.S. staffing business development, lead generation, client outreach, or account development and will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, reaching decision-makers, generating qualified meetings, and supporting the sales process.
This position will work closely with company leadership in the United States to develop new relationships with utilities, engineering companies, EPC firms, manufacturing facilities, automation companies, water/wastewater facilities, and other organizations requiring technical staffing or engineering support.
The primary objective of this position is to consistently generate qualified client meetings, staffing opportunities, engineering opportunities, and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective U.S. clients requiring staffing, engineering, automation, controls, or technical resources.
- Identify appropriate decision-makers, including:
- Hiring Managers
- Engineering Managers
- Procurement Managers
- Vendor Management Teams
- HR/Talent Acquisition Leaders
- Operations Managers
- Plant Managers
- Project Managers
- Conduct outbound prospecting using:
- Telephone
- CRM campaigns
- Professional networking platforms
- Generate qualified meetings and introductions for senior management.
- Conduct initial conversations with prospective clients to understand their staffing or engineering requirements.
- Follow up consistently with prospective customers and maintain long-term relationships.
- Re-engage dormant or previously contacted accounts.
- Identify companies using MSP/VMS staffing programs and assist with vendor-registration opportunities.
- Identify upcoming projects, hiring requirements, RFPs, RFQs, and engineering opportunities.
- Support client onboarding and vendor-registration activities.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, follow-ups, meetings, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Develop targeted prospect lists by industry, geography, company size, and service requirement.
- Coordinate closely with recruiting and engineering teams when new opportunities are identified.
- Support preparation of capability presentations, proposals, introductory materials, and client communications.
- Track sales activity and provide weekly reports on outreach, meetings, opportunities, and pipeline development.
- Participate in sales meetings with U.S.-based leadership when required.

Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in U.S. staffing business development, inside sales, lead generation, or client acquisition.
- Experience working with U.S.-based customers is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of the U.S. staffing industry and terminology.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience selling staffing services to U.S. clients.
- Experience working with engineering, utility, energy, industrial, or automation companies.
- Existing knowledge of U.S. staffing MSP/VMS programs.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience with recruiting or staffing platforms such as Recruiterflow, CEIPAL, Bullhorn, or similar systems.
- Experience developing email campaigns and outbound sales sequences.
- Familiarity with engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, controls, automation, and instrumentation is a plus.

Quality of opportunities will be prioritized over simply generating large volumes of unqualified leads.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience plus performance-based incentives.

Work Schedule
The candidate must be willing to work hours that provide meaningful overlap with the U.S. Eastern and Central time zones.
Typical working hours may include an evening shift in India to support direct communication with U.S.-based prospective customers.
