Job Description
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
Job Description
- Support data analytics projects that improve business outcomes, particularly in the AFC/AML domain.
- Collect, clean, integrate and analyze structured and unstructured data to answer business questions and produce useful datasets.
- Assist in developing, testing and monitoring analytical or machine-learning models under the guidance of senior team members.
- Prepare dashboards, analysis and concise presentations, and work with business and technology stakeholders to communicate findings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, finance or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong internships, academic projects or practical portfolios are welcome for junior role
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL, with a sound foundation in data analysis and statistics.
- Exposure to Power BI, Qlik or another visualization tool is an advantage.
- Interest in financial services and willingness to learn KYC, name screening and transaction monitoring processes.
- Curious, detail-oriented and responsible, with good problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
