Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Entrance - Unarmed in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, respond to alarm panel activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming, secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at an industrial location, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the facility perimeter, loading and receiving areas, access points, and parking areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding shifts, incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
