As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Administration in North Bergen, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a premier automotive location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by verifying credentials, managing visitor and employee access, and monitoring entry points. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while supporting a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive facility; verify identification, visitor credentials, appointments, and authorization before granting access.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
