We are hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer II to build features across our core platforms. Used by dealerships across the country, our software provides a streamlined workflow for dealerships to get fast, flexible financing to their customers. Working with a team of collaborative engineers, you will work across our stack with technologies such as Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (such as React).

This role is about taking ownership of concrete engineering tasks and turning well-defined requirements into clean, reliable, and end-to-end functional software. Leveraging technical direction while exercising strong independence, you will design and implement front-end interfaces, back-end APIs, and comprehensive test suites, partnering with senior engineers to bring high-quality user experiences to production.

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems.
• Write clean, efficient code and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery across the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure system reliability and prevent regressions by implementing automated test suites and validating core functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, optimize existing codebase performance, and resolve complex software bugs.
• Collaborate with teammates and internal teams to improve products.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to refine product features and guide junior engineers in adopting industry best practices.
• Use AI-assisted development to accelerate the pace of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred) with 3 - 5 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern general-purpose languages, with primary expertise in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Node.js.
• Proven background in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable end-to-end technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Practical knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advanced SQL capabilities with deep experience working with relational database engines (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.).
• Expertise in Git-based repository workflows (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps), active PR participation, and thorough code reviews.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented mindset and a desire to take ownership of deliverable outcomes.

Compensation: In addition to salary, Total Rewards include bonus eligibility, a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below. The role described above offers a base salary of $105,000 to $135,000 + corporate bonus eligibility. Your offer will be based on location, the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity
