The Project Coordinator - Survey will support a transformative transit infrastructure project in the east end of downtown Toronto and will be part of a high-performing project team.
Your role
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Process project progress billings, timesheets, and monitor budget compliance to support accurate project tracking and reporting.
- Manage, organize, and transmit survey documentation, deliverables, and records in accordance with project standards and client requirements.
- Track survey field activities, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely completion and alignment with project schedules.
- Maintain and update survey trackers, work plans, schedules, and project status reports.
- Coordinate site access requirements and ensure compliance with project safety, security, and client protocols.
- Prepare survey request packages, scopes of work, and project requirements for field crews and subcontractors.
- Coordinate survey field activities, crew scheduling, equipment requirements, and subcontractor resources to support project execution including participate in project meetings and communicate survey-related updates, risks, constraints, and schedule impacts to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including survey requests, field reports, drawings, permits, control records, and deliverables.
- Coordinate subcontractor submittals, deliverables, and project documentation to ensure completeness and adherence to contractual requirements and liaise with project managers, survey crews, engineers, contractors, utility stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective coordination of survey activities.
About you
- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a project coordination, survey coordination, geomatics, or construction support role.
- Experience supporting land surveying, utility coordination, infrastructure, transportation, or civil construction projects.
- Experience working with document management systems and maintaining project records and trackers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey plans, specifications, utility records, and construction documents.
- Strong understanding of survey processes, field operations, deliverables, and project scheduling.

Expected compensation for this role is between $85,000 - $100,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
