Job Description:
Ryan Companies has an opportunity for an Associate Real Estate Manager. This will be responsible for providing administrative support for a downtown office building, managing an office and industrial building, as well as creating and maintaining value in real property consistent with the owner’s objectives. You will seek the efficient balance of tenant and owner relations, accurate financial budgeting and expense control, and proper risk management in compliance with the highest standard of professional ethics.
In addition, this role will also mentor and train support staff and building engineering staff assigned to them. External customers may include owners, vendors and subcontractors used in day-to-day functions, maintenance and repair of the building. This will be an in office, full-time, Monday - Friday role with the potential to work from home one day per week.
Some things you can expect to do:
- Communicate and work with external customers, subcontractors, tenants as well as owner inquiries.
- Coordinate tenant service requests.
- Process property invoices on a regular basis for manager approval; preparation includes checking math, inserting vendor and account code information, copying and filing.
- Maintain and update Certificates of Insurance for service vendors and tenants.
- General administrative duties as required by team/department.
- Prepare annual budgets for approval and monitor adherence to them.
- Support the annual property reforecast process.
- Serve as a coordination point between tenants, vendors, building engineers, and security personnel.
- Perform regular property and vacancy inspections and identify issues.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly property reports as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have: :
Minimum two-year degree with an emphasis in business or real estate.
Hold a real estate license, as needed.
Successfully completed two real estate certification designation courses such as RPA and CPM.
Minimum three years’ experience working as an administrative assistant or similar in a real estate management department or firm.
Comfortable taking a leadership role in client relationships.
Creates well-written, well-executed, accurate reports for review.
Ability to monitor accountability from staff, vendors and suppliers.
Ability to effectively manage the aesthetic and operational aspects of an asset.
Excellent financial analysis skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software, understanding of data base functionality.
Maintain expertise in one or more specialties such as ADA, OSHA, Indoor Air Quality or Real Estate Valuation.

- Working knowledge of Yardi, Concur, Angus, MS Teams, MS Office, MRI, JD Edwards, Nexus, VersaPay
- Experience in real estate management
Compensation:
The salary is $65,000 - 80,000 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
