Team/Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Onboarding Senior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage in-depth disciplinary knowledge and industry expertise to enhance client onboarding processes, develop new techniques, and improve overall workflow within a corporate financial services environment. You will be responsible for evaluating complex issues with substantial potential impact, balancing conflicting situations, and making informed decisions. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as you will play a crucial part in influencing project outcomes and contributing to the overall objectives of the business.
Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding & Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding lifecycle, managing interactions, documentation issuance, and system setups.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of account opening process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Thoroughly understand, interpret, and correctly implement client requirements, providing innovative solutions and ensuring robust support for new initiatives.
- Directly handle client communications, manage expectations, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage various projects within the account services space, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop new work procedures and analyze complex issues to drive process improvements with significant departmental impact.
Risk & Control Management:
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- Drive compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, while adhering to internal policies.
- Establish and maintain a strong culture of risk and controls within the team through robust processes and checkpoints.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of professional experience with a strong background in client-facing roles, specifically in client onboarding, documentation review, and account opening/maintenance, preferably within a corporate banking or financial services environment.
- Proven experience in customer service, systems testing, and project rollouts.
- Client Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal) with clients and internal business partners.
- Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic information from multiple sources.
- Execution: Advanced execution skills with the ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Leadership: Ability to coach, develop people, and partner confidently with senior management and other support functions.
- Risk Acumen: A strong understanding of risk and control parameters and the ability to achieve business objectives without compromising them.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Open to working staggered hours, shifts, or on weekends/public holidays as required by business needs.
