Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking offices, lobbies, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation.
• Communicate observed hazards, policy violations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
