As the Head of Market Access and Policy, you will lead market access strategies and drive business growth, working closely with a team of experienced sales, marketing and functional experts. Your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and navigate complex access environments will be key to ensuring patient access and business success.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop and lead the local Patient Access and Market Access strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, pricing strategy, reimbursement goals, and patient affordability initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional value and access teams to generate and leverage clinical, economic, and real-world evidence that supports payer value propositions, pricing, reimbursement, and formulary access.
- Represent Patient Access in key cross-functional governance and brand teams, including Global Program Teams, Global Brand Teams, Medical Affairs teams, and local leadership forums.
- Drive decisions related to market access and patient access strategies at the local level, utilizing market insights, health economics evidence, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder feedback.
- Secure and optimize reimbursement, pricing approvals, formulary listings, tenders, and market access agreements in line with commercial and patient access objectives.
- Build, maintain, and influence strategic relationships with federal, regional, and local government authorities, payers, healthcare providers, HTA bodies, hospital decision-makers, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess healthcare policy, legislative, pricing, reimbursement, and market access developments, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Regional/Global teams to develop and execute effective access strategies and business cases.
- Lead negotiations with external stakeholders and support tender processes, ensuring commercially viable outcomes while maximizing patient access.
- Provide strategic leadership on market trends, competitive activities, health policy developments, and access opportunities to drive sustainable business growth and improved patient outcomes.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, or health economics within the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, and regulatory environments in Vietnam.
- Demonstrated success in securing product listings and implementing effective access strategies.
- Exceptional networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with strategic thinking ability.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
