Description
A leading international Magic Circle law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant for its Capital Markets team in Hong Kong, with a focus on equity capital markets transactions. The firm has a highly regarded capital markets practice in Asia and advises on a broad range of landmark transactions across the region.
The successful candidate will provide dedicated matter support to the Capital Markets team, working under the direction of partners and senior lawyers. Key responsibilities include assisting with collating and researching company information from public sources, supporting the administrative aspects of deals, and assisting with bible preparation and deal closing.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Law from a top law school and be fluent in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin). Prior relevant legal experience is advantageous. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced capital markets team.
