About your team

Fidelity is further developing its digital assets capabilities, and the Digital Assets Security team leads governance and technical assurance efforts globally for Fidelity International.

About your role
As an integral member of the Digital Assets Security team, you will be accountable for the definition, delivery, and assurance of security and governance controls supporting crypto ETP/ETFs and fund tokenisation initiatives. You will collaborate with the Global Cyber & Information Security function, product delivery teams, ETFs teams, Product Legal, and Operations & Technology to define, implement, and maintain the security and governance framework. You will also provide independent security assurance, risk assessments, and go‑live recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums in support of the fund tokenisation roadmap.

You will take on a central role in building out our digital assets security & governance capability, working alongside the strategists of the team. In addition, you will work closely with the Blockchain team to develop and deliver the crypto ETP/ETFs and tokenised funds, including security governance, risk assessment, and assurance of smart contracts and supporting blockchain infrastructure. The role supports regulatory readiness by ensuring security controls and risk assessments are evidencable for audit, compliance, and regulatory review.

You will work closely with other parts of Fidelity such as Enterprise Technology Services and Investment Solutions & Services to provide a targeted digital assets security awareness programme, ensuring consistent governance and effective risk oversight across relevant business functions.

About you

•           Passionate about digital assets and the technology and security requirements that support them.

•           Excel at developing governance frameworks in support of business objectives.

•           Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for digital assets, with proven experience engaging effectively with Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Regulators.

•           Experience performing security risk assessments and third‑party assurance (custodians, exchanges, tokenisation platforms) for regulated financial products.

•           Ability to challenge product and technology decisions on risk grounds.

•           Experience in crypto ETF/ETPs security delivery or development of tokenised funds.

•           Proficiency in applying innovative blockchain technologies within a controlled, security‑by‑design governance framework.

•           Established network in the crypto security ecosystem is a plus.

•           Ability to deal successfully with ambiguity and draw out the issues to be addressed.

•           Organised with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

•           Degree-level education is preferred, as are relevant cybersecurity and blockchain-related technical certifications.
