Job Description
As a Security Guard Full Time Customer Service Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post combines customer service, communication, and security-related responsibilities while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall interior, exterior, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe activity at the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
