Description
“Do something just because it’s rad.” – Pete, founder of Illegal Pete’s
THE ROLE
Illegal Pete’s takes pride in how we treat the team rolling burritos every day. We believe what you eat matters as much as who you eat it with — and the same goes for work. We provide a living wage, health benefits, and a 401(k) to our employees. The HR Generalist plays a key role in our culture supporting our restaurant and home office teams every day — owning HR processes, benefits administration, internal customer service, and more.
This person knows our software, systems, and processes inside and out, then uses that knowledge to support our restaurant teams. They handle the day-to-day HR inquiries from team members and managers and support the payroll partner as needed for accurate and benefits administration. They must be trustworthy, organized, and discreet — maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at every turn — and able to work independently while living the values of Illegal Pete’s: positive spirit, respect, honesty, good humor, and goodwill. We’re looking for someone who can be present in our restaurants and office to get to know our people.
About Illegal Pete's
Ever been to a Chipotle and thought, wow, this place would be cool if it were more fun, they mixed your burrito, and the queso tasted better? So did we! Illegal Pete's is a Colorado-born restaurant company with 14 locations (1 is in Arizona) serving Baja-inspired Mexican food, margaritas, community and more! Since 1995, we have been pushing the boundaries of what fast casual food can be. It’s a place where people actually want to hang out — a place for Burritos, Buddies, and Beer. Food and drinks you’ll be proud to serve to your friends, your family, and every guest. But we go beyond serving delicious food and drinks; we are part of the community. It’s our mission to give back to our crew, customers, and community by doing things the right way.
