As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access control, respond to alarm panel activity, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology office by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting relevant details.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
