Located in Lismore
Base salary $93,345 (Pro rata) + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity
The Project Officer provides operational support as part of a government funded consortia (e-Mental Health in Practice) offering workforce development in digital mental health, specifically within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander framework. They work within a multi-disciplinary Aboriginal-led team to ensure the efficient workforce development content and implementation of project plans, activities. This role delivers specific tasks, collaborates with various project stakeholders and fosters effective communication to ensure the successful achievement of project deliverables. Through data analytics and team liaison, they evaluate and fine-tune communication strategies to ensure alignment with broader project objectives.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
1. Provide project support for workforce development and engagement activities.
coordinate and develop digital media content demonstrating the use of d-SEWB tools in clinical practice and health promotion work.
coordinate and present at workforce and sector forums to promote WellMob, its training initiatives and embedding digital SEWB tools into workforce practice.
support the delivery of engagement strategies and campaigns.
assist in updating content and materials based on user feedback and emerging evidence.
assist with data collection and analysis, ensuring quality and accuracy.
assist in identifying gaps and opportunities for new resource development.
2. Provide support for the implementation of project plans, event planning and reporting.
facilitate project logistics, schedule meetings and events, coordinate attendees and honorarium payments, travel and venue requirements.
coordinate the collation and preparation of project data for presentations and reporting.
assist with governance processes, project planning and reporting procedures, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
ensure project data integrity, confidentiality and the safe storage of records and files.
3. Build and maintain rapport and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
act as a key contact for stakeholders and partners and coordinate communication with networks.
act as a first point of contact for team enquiries.
contribute to strategic discussions representing the project on sector working groups and organisational advisory committees.
attend online forums, workshops and conferences to assist in presentation and promotion of training resources to stakeholders and interested users.
4. Provide administrative support in a proactive and professional manner.
monitor and communicate project activities and updates to the team and wider eMHprac consortium.
provide administrative support for the recording of meetings and workshops.
identify issues and implement improvements to administrative processes and record keeping systems.
work closely with communication, admin, and content teams to ensure integrated delivery.
maintain office systems and foster a collaborative, supportive team environment.
5. Provide financial administrative support for processing and monitoring expenses across a range of projects.
support basic budgeting and the preparation of project reports.
assist with purchase orders, processing invoices and expense tracking.
assist with the preparation of financial estimates for funding applications.

About you:
excellent administrative skills coupled with a sound understanding of a project life cycle, standards and methodologies and data collection and analysis protocols
excellent verbal and written communications skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion
strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects
Aboriginal cultural and community knowledge and understanding to support workforce development and resources centered on SEWB principles
ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and digital media platforms.list the work experience, technical skills and academic qualification/s required.
