Description
Global Fashion Group (GFG) is the leading fashion and lifestyle destination in growth markets across LATAM, SEA and ANZ. Through Dafiti, ZALORA and THE ICONIC, we connect international, local and owned brands to more than 800 million consumers. Powered by technology, data and deep local expertise, we create seamless shopping experiences from discovery to delivery.
At GFG, you’ll build products at the heart of a fast-growing global marketplace business, solving meaningful problems across commerce, operations, data and scale. You’ll work with talented teams across 10+ countries and deliver a visible impact on both business performance and user experience.
About the Team
Seller Center is GFG’s global marketplace platform, enabling brands to onboard, manage assortment, fulfil orders and grow their business across our platforms. It supports critical workflows across catalogue, inventory, fulfilment, order management, finance, reconciliation and seller experience.
You will join the product area within Seller Center responsible for seller growth, automation and AI-driven tooling (one of GFG's strategic bets). Partnering closely with other Product Managers, you will bring dedicated AI/ML capabilities to help shape and accelerate the roadmap. You will report to the Lead Product Manager and work closely with engineering, design, analytics and regional stakeholders across our three regions.
About the Role
This is a senior individual contributor role focused on bringing AI/ML product craft into Seller Center's growth and automation roadmap. You will not own the full domain in isolation - you will work alongside another Senior Product Manager to evaluate where AI and automation can meaningfully improve seller operations and sales.
Your mission is to help the team move faster on AI and automation initiatives that improve seller experience, operational processes and business - bringing hands-on product experience with machine learning and applied science collaboration to evaluate what's possible, design how to test it, and instill stronger evaluation and experimentation discipline across the wider Product group. With marketplace contributing ~40% of GFG’s business, your work will have a visible impact across 20,000+ users globally.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the current Senior Product Manager to lead AI and automation initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and problem definition through launch and iteration
- Examine qualitative and quantitative signals (seller interviews, support tickets, behavioural analytics, etc. ) to identify where friction exists and shape AI / automation solutions to address
- Design and run evals to validate model and feature performance, using pre / post comparisons, phased rollouts, and segment analysis
- Work closely with applied science / ML teams, as well as your engineering squad, to translate capabilities and constraints into product decisions, and product needs into model requirements
- Prioritise ruthlessly, always utilizing data and seller insights to ensure the highest-impact initiatives are built
- Manage risks and dependencies specific to AI / automation delivery, escalating with clear recommendations
- Communicate technical trade-offs and evaluation results clearly to non-technical stakeholders across business and regional teams
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to align priorities and ensure solutions work across markets
- Communicate clearly through concise artefacts such as PRDs, discovery summaries, and release notes
- Understand evolving industry and technology best practices and trends, put them into practice within your squad and team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with hands-on exposure to building AI-powered products or capabilities using machine learning (full end-to-end ownership of an AI product is a plus but not required if you've worked closely on ML products)
- Experience working directly with applied science or ML engineering teams; comfortable enough in the technical detail to evaluate trade-offs and understand best practices, without needing to be the one building the models
- Direct experience with a range of feature and model validation methods (such as evals, A/B testing, offline evaluation, shadow testing, or cohort analysis) and possess the judgement to pick the right one for the environment and constraints at hand
- Can determine when AI or automation is genuinely the right solution to a seller problem; and the willingness to recommend a simpler, non-AI fix when that's what actually serves the seller best
- Heavy personal usage of LLM-powered tools in your own workflow, and genuine curiosity about where GenAI is heading
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical uncertainty into clear recommendations for both engineering and commercial stakeholders
- Preferred: experience in e-commerce or marketplace products; background in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- The unique opportunity to have a serious impact on a well-established player in the fashion ecommerce industry across LATAM, SEA and ANZ
- Valuable experience as the business navigates a dynamic and evolving market landscape
- Work closely with a diverse and talented global team across countries
- Best practice scaled agile engineering
- Amazing office and great culture! Massage chairs, table tennis, video game room, quarterly team events, yearly company trip, end of the year party
- Hybrid working environment.
- Clear career progression plan and support
- Macbook or laptop when you start
- Social insurance, medical insurance & health insurance
- 13th month salary
- 15 days of annual leave, 30 days of sick leave/mental health, 1 day of occasion leave
- Support for Gym membership
