Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Day Shift Outdoor Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. Bring strong communication skills and a New York State Security Guard License while supporting an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support site entry procedures in accordance with property policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain professional communication with property management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
