 We are seeking a results-driven Regulatory Reporting professional with 8+ years of experience under EMIR, MiFID II, CFTC, SFTR and a strong product knowledge across OTC Derivatives, including Interest Rate, Equity, Commodity, and FX Derivatives, as well as Securities Finance products, including Repo, Reverse Repo, Securities Lending, and Borrowing transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate subject matter expertise, a strong control mindset, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across global teams.

Regulatory Reporting plays a critical role in maintaining the firm's compliance with global regulatory obligations and safeguarding its reputation. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory submissions, while strengthening the overall control framework and reducing operational and regulatory risk. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and stakeholder confidence.

What you will be responsible for

As Team Lead you will

  • Perform daily oversight and review of reportable transactions to ensure regulatory reports are submitted accurately, completely, and within prescribed timelines.

  • Monitor and manage reporting exceptions, data quality issues, and reconciliation breaks, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with Business Operations, Compliance, Technology teams, trade repositories, and industry service providers to support accurate and consistent regulatory reporting.

  • Support onboarding activities by tracking reporting readiness, identifying potential issues, and responding to stakeholder and client queries.

  • Deliver against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring high-quality client and regulatory outcomes.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of end-to-end reporting processes and identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and risk reduction.

  • Investigate and respond to reconciliation discrepancies, reporting exceptions, and client inquiries in a timely and effective manner.

  • Escalate material issues, risks, and regulatory breaches to senior management to support informed decision-making and governance.

  • Ensure failed or non-STP transactions are appropriately identified, tracked, remediated, and reported where necessary.

  • Actively support regulatory change initiatives, including regulatory analysis, business requirement definition, implementation activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation validation.

  • Participate in control testing, audit reviews, and governance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of operating procedures, job aids, and reporting documentation to support operational resilience and knowledge sharing.

What we value

  • In-depth knowledge of key FX derivates, regulatory reporting regimes, including EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, CFTC, and other global reporting requirements.

  • Solid understanding of trade lifecycles, transaction reporting obligations, and post-trade operational processes across multiple asset classes.

  • Experience working with trade repositories, regulatory reporting platforms, reconciliation tools, and industry utilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Business teams.

 Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services

  • Strong Knowledge of any two regulations EMIR, MIFID II, SFTR, and CFTC reporting requirements

  • Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills

  • Proven track record of successful project execution

  • Ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines

  • Ability to reprioritize timely

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work with other departments and represent the team in a positive manner

  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
