Reporting directly to the HR Director, you as an HR Partner will be responsible for serving as the primary Human Resources partner for the Múzquiz manufacturing facility, working closely with plant leadership to drive talent development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, and operational execution. You will support a high-visibility manufacturing operation within the Transportation & Logistics (T&L) – Cole Hersee / Commercial Vehicle Products (CVP) business unit, helping align people strategies with business and operational priorities.
You will collaborate closely with plant leadership and Human Resources Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, and HR Operations, to strengthen leadership capabilities, succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will also provide HR guidance to leaders, support employee relations and organizational change initiatives, strengthen training and capability-building programs, and use workforce metrics to support informed business decisions.
About the Job:
Serve as a trusted Human Resources advisor and primary HR partner to plant leadership.
Drive succession planning activities for critical positions across the manufacturing facility.
Strengthen leadership development initiatives across the plant.
Enhance employee training and capability-building programs.
Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent.
Support organizational effectiveness and workforce planning initiatives.
Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, employee development, and leadership initiatives.
Ensure alignment between people strategies and operational priorities.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture across the manufacturing operation.
Lead employee engagement initiatives and support the development and execution of action plans.
Coach managers on employee development, performance management, and effective employee conversations.
Support organizational change and communication initiatives.
Execute key HR processes and programs consistently across the plant.
Partner with Human Resources Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, and HR Operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations, company policies, and Human Resources processes.
Use workforce metrics and data to support informed business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support talent development strategies for supervisors, managers, and key plant roles.
Strengthen the talent pipeline and leadership readiness across the organization.
Support continuous improvement of HR processes, programs, and organizational practices.

About You:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
5-8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, automotive, transportation, or related environments.
Experience in roles such as HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Supervisor, or HR Partner.
Experience supporting employee relations, talent development, performance management, and organizational initiatives.
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and connect people strategies with operational priorities.
Strong leadership presence and maturity, with the ability to build credibility with plant leaders and employees.
Strong influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use workforce metrics to support business decisions.
High energy level, learning agility, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Strong coaching and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support leaders in addressing employee and organizational challenges.
