Description
The Opportunity:
Seeking a highly motivated Field Service Representative to support the NCCT contract on base in Osan, South Korea. You will have an engineering or technical background and strong communication and troubleshooting skills and be on site to complete tasking as identified below. Travel will include to Rockwall, Texas for training, etc. as well as potential other trips to CONUS or other OCONUS locations.
Responsibilities:
Installation of equipment and software versions
Configuration management
Testing
Assessment and Authorization (A&A) checks of NCCT servers and related materials
Performing system resets
Performing health checks of the local NCCT system
Troubleshooting of hardware and software anomalies
Providing user assistance
Coordinating upgrade efforts with site leadership
Working general connectivity issues
Resolving trouble tickets
Identifying issues and reporting on them and the resolution
Supporting equipment and material inventory and tracking
Support to local site maintenance and operational personnel in the identification and resolution of questions, anomalies, and discrepancies of NCCT and related interface functionality.
Comply with local administrative and work performance policies as established by Functional Director (FD) or designated representative to include supply discipline, tool control, and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards.
Perform timely data entry into the Air Force approved maintenance tracking system (i.e. Remedy, IMDS, SERENA, etc.) in accordance with the local maintenance standards for maintenance actions performed.
Provide on-site post-installation training for both system admin and operators as needed
Support of ad hoc orientation/training/demonstrations for external/ temporary users and visitors
May be called upon to support locations other than assigned base
Qualifications:
Required:
5-8 years of experience in engineering
Approved 8570 (Directive 8140) Baseline Certification
Top Secret clearance, SCI with CI poly
Must be able to obtain:
SIPR, JWICS, Cat-II, Cat-III, and ACE/CENTRIX-K accounts.
