Job Overview
The Sales Training Coach is a strategic regional sales enablement partner who builds the capability, readiness, and effectiveness of Marvin sales and architectural team members. This role leads onboarding, coaching, facilitation, field reinforcement, and learning solutions that support sales performance, customer experience, business initiatives, and sustained behavior change. Working closely with regional sales leadership and cross-functional partners, this individual translates business priorities and field needs into practical, scalable enablement strategies and measurable outcomes.
Highlights of your role
- Lead regional sales enablement plans across onboarding, ongoing development, product and systems readiness, field reinforcement, change adoption, coaching, and performance support.
- Partner with sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs tied to sales priorities, product launches, process or system changes, customer expectations, competitive needs, and business initiatives.
- Establish and reinforce standards for dealer and architectural sales calls, presentations, customer interactions, and field-based learning; observe performance and provide actionable coaching and feedback.
- Design, adapt, create, and facilitate engaging learning experiences across instructor-led, virtual, self-directed, experiential, coaching-based, and field-based formats.
- Create and refine practical enablement resources, including presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, coaching tools, reference materials, and field reinforcement content.
- Own timelines, milestones, communications, stakeholder alignment, and execution for assigned learning initiatives; manage changing priorities, risks, and deliverables.
- Act as a trusted advisor and regional subject matter expert, translating product, system, process, market, and field changes into clear learning and performance-support solutions.
- Use learner feedback, field observations, performance indicators, and business data to measure effectiveness, identify trends, recommend improvements, and demonstrate impact.
- Support enterprise, divisional, and regional initiatives; collaborate with other learning coaches, share best practices, mentor facilitators, and promote a consistent learner experience.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Advanced facilitation, coaching, and group management skills, with the ability to make complex information clear, practical, and relevant for varied audiences.
- Strong sales enablement and consulting mindset, including the ability to connect learning and reinforcement to sales performance, customer experience, and business priorities.
- Proven ability to build trust, influence without authority, manage multiple stakeholders and priorities, solve problems, and independently recommend a course of action.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply complex product, system, process, market, and business information; strong written, virtual, and in-person communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and residence within the supported sales region.
Also want to make sure you have
- Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, business, marketing, sales, communications, education, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in sales enablement, learning and development, sales training, coaching, facilitation, field training, or a closely related role.
- Experience leading learning initiatives, consulting with business stakeholders, facilitating complex or high-visibility programs, and translating business needs into practical learning solutions.
- Experience creating enablement materials, coaching sales professionals, and using data and feedback to evaluate effectiveness is preferred. Related certification and experience with Salesforce, content management systems, learning platforms, or related business systems are also preferred.
