What you will learn:
Design & develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI’s product offerings
Create, implement and maintain test coverage for SOTI’s Web and Mobile applications.
Work collaboratively with test teams
Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios and test cases and track and report on testing activities
Conduct various types of testing as part of the feature development process and release cycle
Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines
Work in a collaborative, quality-focused role in agile development teams to shape SOTI's product offerings
Required skills:
Enrolled in a post‑secondary program in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and database fundamentals
Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of programming in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Rust, Lua, Haskell
Basic knowledge of test strategies, planning and prioritizing test cases and execution.
Knowledge of web/mobile applications and web services testing, as well as the OSI model and computer networking principles (TCP/IP).
Most importantly curiosity, a desire to learn and be a part of a team
