Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business critical supplier contracts, supply agreements, pay terms, vendor recovery and negotiations to ensure that market trends, supplier performance, and future business needs are aligned while increasing business performance on critical KPIs such as cash
- Develop and execute long term global commodity strategies for a large/diverse group of suppliers with >50M€ spend across ONW & OFW, with varying levels of complexity and size
- Execute sourcing strategies, by building strategic & long term partnerships, build most competitive and best quality suppliers leveraging LEAN and MOREWIND principles
- Implement competitive and innovative negotiation schemes to drive lowest landed cost with the global supply base and develop alternative sources to reduce single and sole source dependencies
- Lead component team to accelerate & influence business to meet critical KPIs across SQDC & sustainability for the WIND sourcing organization
- Independently lead various forums and collaborate throughout organization (engineering, quality, global supply chain, product line, NPI, PM, regional- and site teams) to ensure continuous improvement of the strategic sourcing setup and products
- Work closely with global and regional sourcing leaders to ensure negotiated prices/terms are leveraged at scale to improve performance across onshore wind businesses globally and maximize use of synergies within GEV commodity spend
- Be a leading function to trigger engineering design simplification to achieve lowest cost and design to manufacturing with suppliers
- Drive business critical/strategic NPI implementations to ensure on time, on cost implementation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 7+ years of previous sourcing, packaging, sustainability experience
- Expertise in supply chain sustainability management
- Strong proven project management and negotiation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time internationally

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $208,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
