Job Summary
The Warehouseman will support the warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations. This role sits at the heart of the supply chain function — handling everything from receiving raw materials to preparing finished goods for local and international shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Storage
- Receive incoming raw materials and goods, verifying delivery receipts, waybills, invoices, packing lists, and other supporting documents for completeness and accuracy
- Store received materials in designated warehouse locations, and perform sorting, labeling, and kitting as required
Inventory Management
- Issue materials to production and other requesting departments in a timely manner
- Accurately record all received and issued materials in the company's MRP/ERP system
- Monitor inventory levels and enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) procedures
- Participate in interim, periodic, and month-end physical inventory counts to help maintain inventory accuracy
Finished Goods & Shipping
- Receive finished goods from production, verifying quantities, item codes, product labels, and delivery records
- Post inventory and warehouse transactions in the system, and store finished goods on designated racks following FIFO guidelines
- Pick, pack, and label finished goods for both local and international shipments
- Dispatch finished goods and coordinate shipping activities with relevant departments
- Prepare and process documentation required for local and international shipments
Compliance & Reporting
- Support compliance with applicable government and regulatory requirements (e.g., PEZA, BOC, BOI, PDEA) where relevant
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely receiving, issuance, and shipment of materials
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, safety, and 5S standards
- Prepare inventory, warehouse, and logistics reports as needed
- Help identify and reduce warehouse and logistics-related audit findings
Qualifications
- At least College Level (minimum 2nd Year College) or a graduate of a relevant Vocational Course
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse and shipping operations; manufacturing industry background preferred
- Experience handling receiving and processing of raw materials and finished goods shipments
- Working knowledge of inventory management and warehouse/logistics operations
- Familiarity with FIFO inventory procedures and 5S practices
- Familiarity with PEZA documentation and processes is a plus
- Computer literate, with comfort using MS Office and warehouse/MRP/ERP systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Driving skills are an advantage
- Physically able to lift and move raw materials, finished goods, and other warehouse items as required
- Organized, systematic, and dependable, with a strong sense of urgency and punctuality
