Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Shipping Production Clerk performs clerical support tasks for the Shipping department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing clerical support for a manufacturing department, including filing, creating documents, data entry, and answering telephone calls
- Organizing and maintaining safety and training records
- Maintaining time sheets
- Preparing departmental correspondence
- Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous clerical support or administrative experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- MS Office skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
ADA Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
