What You'll Be Doing:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives to lead the day-to-day execution, coordination, and rollout of multiple AI agents and human-AI workflows across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives (AI Transformation), this role turns transformation strategy into disciplined delivery: building and maintaining integrated plans, driving cross-functional workstreams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring each AI-enabled workflow moves from pilot to production with the training, controls, and measurement needed to sustain it. The successful candidate will be an organized, hands-on project leader who thrives in ambiguity, communicates crisply across technical and operational audiences, and keeps complex, parallel implementations on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day execution of AI-enabled workflow implementations, managing project plans, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple parallel initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally to lead the operationalization of AI agents and human-AI operating models, ensuring a sequenced rollout plan with appropriate stage gates, go/no-go criteria, and monitoring and oversight.
- Lead change management strategy and execution, ensuring end-user readiness and adoption activities, including standard operating procedures, job aids, training sessions, and communications.
- Define and track AI agent implementation performance, adoption, operational outcomes, and key success metrics; provide leadership reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, escalating concerns and recommending mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and working sessions; drive accountability for action items, decisions, and deliverables across stakeholders.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and the business to ensure projects adhere to governance, compliance, privacy, security, and responsible AI requirements.
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous process improvement across future AI agent implementations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional, technology-enabled implementations and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, waterfall, or hybrid), including planning, risk and issue management, and status reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and present status, risks, and recommendations to both operational and technical audiences.
- Experience defining and tracking KPIs to monitor delivery progress, adoption, and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Change management training or certification (Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting implementations of generative AI, machine learning, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions.
- Healthcare, payer, provider, utilization management, or regulated industry experience preferred.
- Experience with process mapping, workflow design, or operational process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
Why Join Us?
- Opportunity to drive impactful AI initiatives in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams, including data science, product, engineering, and operations.
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
If you are passionate about the application of AI in healthcare and want to play a pivotal role in shaping AI-driven transformation, we'd love to hear from you!
