Job Description:
Assets Engineer
Al Dhafrah Region - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assets Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support municipal and infrastructure asset activities by coordinating permits, maintaining accurate project records, and assisting with planning, budgeting, and reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintain and update asset registers in Osool, including asset tagging, coding, and classification.
Coordinate with other teams to ensure asset data is current and compliant with applicable asset management standards.
Supervise and monitor infrastructure permits from initiation to closure, ensuring accurate processing, coordination with relevant departments, and full regulatory compliance .
Review, analyze, and process land status and land-use modification requests aligned with municipal master plans and regulation
Ensure new/updated assets are captured and integrated into the asset system; maintain audit-ready records and documentation.
Develop investment plans and monitor expenditure across infrastructure and municipal system
Monitor progress of IT Infrastructure -related works/projects, follow up closures, and report issues impacting quality or timelines.
Coordinate with stakeholders and authorities as required; attend meetings and prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
Conduct field inspections to validate asset condition and prepare condition and lifecycle assessment reports
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent with minimum 8 years experience
Strong IT and computer literacy for asset systems, records, and reporting; ability to use project-specific engineering software.
Familiar with Infrastructure permits and municipal approval systems
Strong knowledge of engineering and construction processes and industry practices
Abu Dhabi practicing engineers registration preferred.
