This role will see you use your technical expertise to develop meaningful, commercially focused reports and dashboards that provide clear insight into business performance. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders across the business, you'll turn complex data into clear, actionable information, helping teams understand performance, identify commercial opportunities and make better-informed business decisions.

Please note that this will be a hybrid working role, with a minimum expectation of three days per week based in our Leeds head office.

  • Design and maintain scalable data models that support consistent reporting.
  • Analyse and report on the delivery and outcomes of actions previously taken.
  • Perform variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior periods.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor data quality, accuracy and completeness across reporting sources.

  • Consolidate reporting outputs from multiple business systems and data sources.
  • Support the development of KPI frameworks and performance measurement standards.
  • Review existing reports to identify duplication, gaps and opportunities for standardisation.
  • Support data security, access controls and reporting governance in line with internal standards.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities through analysis and automation.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders.
  • Support month-end reporting through analysis and reconciliation.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting methodologies and data definitions.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to report users where required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a data analytics role.
  • Strong experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to produce actionable recommendations.
  • Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
  • Experience creating meaningful business insight and presenting findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with financial, operational or commercial datasets.
  • Experience using SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation best practice, including report design, user experience and data storytelling.
  • Ability to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities through analysis.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience working collaboratively across departments.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to improving reporting processes.
