Junior Food Production Associate
Location: Three Bakers, Moscow, PA
Position: Junior Food Production Associate
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm
10 hour shift
Job Summary:
A Junior Food Production Associate is responsible for supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced, gluten-free manufacturing environment. This role involves working with industrial mixers, accurately scaling dry and liquid ingredients, and assisting on production lines to ensure consistent product quality. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to follow processes closely. Associates will support overall production flow while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. All training will be provided on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and assist with industrial mixers and related production equipment
- Accurately scale and measure dry and liquid ingredients
- Follow production formulas and instructions to ensure consistency and quality
- Support assembly line operations and maintain steady production flow
- Conduct basic quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintain accurate production and scaling documentation
- Follow all safety, food safety, and hygiene standards, including gluten-free compliance
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Communicate with team members to support workflow and production goals
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and production processes
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and long shifts
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
