You will join the team responsible for the overarching governance and integration of the department activities. The team establishes the internal systems—such as integrated management, international benchmarking, and cost-modelling frameworks—to ensure all feasibility studies are high-quality, and compliant with international standards. You will focus on streamlining internal processes to ensure all institutional outputs meet rigorous technical and regulatory benchmarks.

What you will be working on:

1. Establishing the Governance & Management Framework

• Integrated Management System (IMS) Support: Contribute to the design of an internal IMS aligned with international standards (e.g., IAEA GSR Part 2). You will help synthesize safety, quality, and economic elements into a single management structure to support long-term institutional knowledge.

• Process Governance: Assist in defining decision-making protocols and oversight mechanisms. You will help establish the framework for how technical information is reviewed and validated to ensure high levels of organizational rigour.

2. Financial & Strategic Planning

• Economic Modelling: Conduct deep-dive analysis and strategic modelling for the financial governance of complex, large-scale infrastructure. This includes researching international cost-control frameworks and long-term funding structures to understand the economic viability of emerging nuclear energy technologies.

• Program Alignment: Serve as a central coordinator to ensure that various technical branches are aligned with overarching organizational objectives, budgets, and timelines.

• Risk Frameworks: Support the refinement of risk management frameworks, focusing on identifying systemic dependencies in the early stages of technology assessment.

3. Institutional Readiness & Standards Benchmarking

• Regulatory Gap Analysis: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to study international regulatory landscapes. You will help identify gaps in existing local frameworks and research enhancements required to align with global energy governance best practices.

• International Standards Engagement: Engage with internal departments and research bodies to facilitate comprehensive reviews of emerging energy standards. You will help ensure that any theoretical deployment models are validated against international "Safety, Security, and Safeguards" (3S) benchmarks.

• Knowledge Management: Build institutional expertise in international licensing and compliance processes, ensuring that the organisation remains an informed participant in global nuclear energy dialogues

[What we are looking for]

​Education:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in the following fields will be preferred:

• Systems Engineering or Project Management,

• Engineering with a focus on Project, Quality, Information Management, or other relevant technical qualifications,

• Economics, Finance or Business Administration, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.

• Other relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.

2. Lead auditor experience in ISO 9001 and/or other relevant management standards will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

• Setting up governance or project management systems for large scale infrastructure projects.

• Financial planning and analysis for major infrastructure projects.

• Audit experience in Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) Management Systems for high-compliance industries like Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, and Oil & Gas.

• Nuclear industry exposure and familiarity with IAEA Milestones and IAEA GSR Part 2 standards.

• Experience working within or closely with government agencies to develop regulatory frameworks or licensing roadmaps.
