Role Summary
The Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager plays a key role in supporting Group-wide financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic decision-making. This position partners closely with divisional finance teams and senior stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis, enabling informed business decisions and sustainable growth. The role also drives continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting capabilities, and financial systems to enhance efficiency and reporting quality across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support Group-wide end-to-end financial planning processes, including annual budgets, forecasts, quarterly outlooks, and long-range planning activities.
Prepare, review, and deliver comprehensive monthly Group management reporting packs, covering Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capital Expenditure (Capex), Working Capital, key performance indicators (KPIs), and executive-level performance commentary.
Develop high-quality financial presentations, business insights, and reporting materials for senior management, the Global Leadership Team, and Japan Post.
Analyse Group and divisional financial performance, including Revenue, EBIT, Free Cash Flow, Capex, and Working Capital, identifying key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and trends.
Partner with divisional finance teams to ensure planning submissions are accurate, complete, well-supported, and aligned with Group reporting standards and timelines.
Support and maintain OneStream planning and reporting activities, including budgeting and forecasting templates, scenario modelling, management reporting outputs, and data validation processes.
Maintain, enhance, and standardise FP&A reporting models, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve business visibility and decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on simplifying and automating FP&A processes, enhancing reporting accuracy, reducing manual effort, and shortening reporting cycle times.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and commercial insights to senior leadership, Japan Post, and other key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Participate in finance transformation initiatives and cross-functional projects aimed at improving financial processes, systems, and governance across the Group.
Coach, mentor, and share knowledge with junior team members and finance stakeholders to support capability development and foster a collaborative team environment.
Undertake additional projects, analyses, and responsibilities as required to support Group Finance objectives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly regarded.
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, Management Reporting, or related finance functions within a large corporate or multinational environment.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cash flow analysis, capital expenditure planning, and performance management.
Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and translate findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Experience working with enterprise planning and reporting systems, preferably OneStream, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and organisational levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly to senior executives and non-financial audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset with experience in process optimisation and automation initiatives.
Proven leadership capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members within a collaborative and high-performance culture.
