Job Overview
Marvin Composites is hiring a Process Support Manager at our Fargo, ND location. This role provides leadership and direct operational support through tooling management and process improvement initiatives. Establish a long-term vision for optimizing pultrusion efficiency by identifying and reducing process variation and implementing clear standardized work procedures.
Collaborate with Product Development and Operations Leadership to reduce costs and improve operational performance. Develop and execute strategies to ensure the successful launch of new products and processes while providing coaching, direction, and support to the team.
Highlights of your role
• Actively develop and manage the culture of your team to align with Marvin Composites mission and values, as measured by survey scores, turnover, retention, and other key culture metrics of the position• Ensure production tooling is maintained and ready for production• Collaborate with Production and Tool & Die to identify and prioritize tooling needs, such as improvements, updates, and back ups• Analyze profile efficiencies to develop and implement solutions to improve productivity within the pultrusion process• Identify, prioritize, and drive continuous improvement activities that reduce variation in the pultrusion process• Collaborate with Product Development in the development of new products to maximize efficiencies and minimize manufacturing costs• Lead the transition of new products and processes from development to production
