Job Description : 

• Sign-on bonus: $15,000.00 with a two-year commitment for eligible candidates

• Daylight hours with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

• Radiation Oncology has 2 Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators, BrainLab Dynamic, an Elekta Flexitron HDR Afterloader, and a Siemens Biograph PET/CT

• Treatment options include 3D, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, SRS/SRT, SGRT, HDR, and LDR seed implants

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Delivers therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by physician.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs patient simulations. (20%)
• Delivers prescribed radiation treatment. (50%)
• Assesses, supports, and educates patients according to specific department guidelines. (10%)
• Maintains medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and quality assurance in accordance with regulatory and departmental guidelines. (15%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required including, but not limited to, mentoring employees/students and participating in department and organizational initiatives. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(T) in good standing or board eligible (must complete certification within 1 year of hire)
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
