Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, the island’s accommodations, restaurants and recreational facilities are all close at hand, arranged around a beautiful central promenade lined with borders of bougainvillea, frangipani and hibiscus flowers.The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is currently seeking a Culinary Coordinator who shares our passion for excellence and is committed to supporting exceptional culinary experiences. This role plays a key part in the efficient administration and coordination of the Culinary Department, ensuring seamless communication, organization, and operational support across all kitchen functions. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will report directly to the Executive Chef.
A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort if required.
What you will do:
- Coordinate the daily administrative operations of the Culinary Department, ensuring accurate documentation, effective communication, and organized records.
- Maintain culinary documentation, including HACCP records, inventory reports, schedules, attendance, and other compliance-related files.
- Support menu administration through recipe management, menu updates, and the preparation of menus and labels.
- Coordinate purchasing activities, monitor inventory levels, and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Manage departmental calendars, meetings, correspondence, and communication between the Culinary Department and other resort teams.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and operational documentation for the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of special events, projects, and departmental initiatives.
- Monitor maintenance requests, supplier communications, and operational follow-ups to support efficient kitchen operations.
- Provide administrative support to the culinary management team and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in an administrative, culinary, hospitality, or coordinator role.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong numerical and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
