Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Location: 100% on site San Antonio, TX 78232
Summary: As the Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our facilities to support our business operations.
What you will do:
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Working within maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure reliability of facility systems
- Escorting external contractors ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Performing regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinating with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to business operations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards related to facility maintenance and operations.
Your profile:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on preventive maintenance programs and building systems management
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards related to facility maintenance and operations
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in facility maintenance and operations
