Summary: Take charge of the full quality assurance strategy for a major banking technology company. Oversee Manual and Automation QA teams, embed quality standards, and improve system reliability across diverse platforms. Your leadership will directly shape quality practices for high-performance, high-transaction environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Shape and deploy QA strategies aligned with business and product plans
- Mentor, manage, and develop Manual and Automation QA teams
- Create and uphold QA standards, methodologies, and release criteria
- Supervise the entire test lifecycle: planning, execution, issue tracking, regression, and product checks
- Expand automation coverage for web, mobile, API, and microservices
- Build and maintain automation frameworks tightly integrated with CI/CD
- Oversee testing environment stability and test data management
- Lead performance engineering including load, stress, and scalability tests
- Set performance benchmarks and reliability targets working closely with Engineering and DevOps
- Organize QA resource planning, vendor oversight, and prioritization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related; Master’s or MBA an advantage
- 7+ years’ experience in software QA/test, including team leadership
- Background managing Manual and Automation QA for large tech firms
- Proven ability to design and deploy enterprise-scale automation frameworks
- Direct experience with tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Karate, or JMeter
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, performance testing, and CI/CD
- Experience managing test environments and test data
- Expert in performance and reliability engineering
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, observability, and security best practices
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and cost management for scalable systems
