Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
● Greet visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
● Provide information about the facility's programs, activities, and services.
● Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns, offering appropriate solutions and guidance.
● Handle telephone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and efficiently.
● Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring visitors feel valued and comfortable.
Facility Bookings and Reservations:
● Assist customers with the registration process for recreational programs, classes, and events.
● Collect fees, process payments, and issue receipts.
● Coordinate with other staff members to ensure seamless facility usage and avoid scheduling conflicts.
● Maintain accurate records of bookings, reservations, and customer information.
Administrative Support:
● Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
● Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure they are adequately stocked.
● Assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials, brochures, and schedules.
● Support other departments within the recreation center as needed.
● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Safety and Security:
● Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
● Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
● Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, following established protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
● High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality, customer service, or related fields is a plus.
● Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a recreational or hospitality setting.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry, scheduling, and general office tasks.
● Knowledge of recreational activities, programs, and services is desirable.
● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
