Description

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner." This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and/or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

 

 

Tasks

This position requires that the Team Member always performs Trainer tasks in a safe manner. This position requires that the Trainer is in charge of all trainees within their area of responsibility. This position requires that the Trainer sets goals for the training department on a daily basis. This position requires that the Trainer learns and is able to teach all aspects of a job to Trainees. This position requires the ability to communicate with all levels of Management. This position requires the ability to document the trainee process in writing and in computer reports. This position requires the ability to teach knife skills. This position requires that the Team Member is detail oriented and safety minded.

 

Requirements

To be considered for position must possess the following:

Must have completed probationary period

*Bilingual a plus*

Must have excellent attendance record (6 points or less) and maintain 9 points or less

Must have excellent Safety record, must not have a disciplinary action resulting in Suspension in the last 12 months.

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends/ holidays if required.
