Mercy Hospital Memorial Rd – Love Family Women’s Center
We are high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along Post Women’s Surgical unit. Within our unit we have: 40-MB rooms, 15-LDR rooms, 14-High Risk Antepartum, 8-bed OBED unit, 4-LIBC Birthing Suites, and 4-Pre Post Rooms 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases). We also have Full time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family Women's Center.
Overview:
The role will function as a unit clerk in the OBED while also managing the scheduling phone, coordinating procedures, and posting charges. Performs various activities in support of patient care staff, as assigned. Restocks supplies and retrieves equipment as directed by patient care staff. Fulfills patient requests for basic needs, i.e. comfort requests, as directed by patient care staff. Continuously shows the ability to work well with other co-workers and supports all functions as requested and required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience: Two years customer service experience.
