This position is part of the Equipment Services department located in Leuven and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform preventive and unplanned maintenance on standard and custom build automated laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate events with Lab Technicians, work with team members as well as individually to ensure preventative and unplanned maintenance is completed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidics and optical devices/systems as well as PLC controlled systems.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High School Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or maintenance related program or equivalent technical education or experience.
- 2 years of related technical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, optical devices/systems, control systems and other equipment.
- Having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and processes.
- Reading, writing and speaking English fluently. Additional knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working in a regulated environment
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
