Position Overview
Location: Open to Remote
Target Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
Target Bonus: Eligible

Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing strategic customer relationships across Delta's Data Center Infrastructure portfolio. This role requires a proven track record of direct, solution-based sales within data center environments and the ability to navigate complex, technical sales cycles with data center operators and enterprise customers.
This is a quota-carrying role focused on expanding market share, developing new business, and delivering integrated data center infrastructure solutions, including critical power, UPS and power distribution, cooling and thermal management, energy storage, and modular infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Revenue Growth
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic data center accounts, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise operators, and channel partners
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets through direct customer engagement and account expansion
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities within existing accounts and net-new data center customers
- Build strategic account plans that align Delta's solutions with customer capacity, reliability, efficiency, and growth requirements
Data Center Solution Selling & Market Engagement
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting and technical discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Position integrated solutions across critical power, UPS, power distribution, cooling and thermal management, energy storage, and modular data center infrastructure
- Engage key stakeholders including data center owners and operators, hyperscalers, colocation providers, engineering firms, integrators, contractors, and enterprise customers
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and applications teams to translate customer requirements into technically and commercially aligned solutions
Pipeline, Forecasting & Market Development
- Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, account activity, and revenue forecast within CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Build pipeline through targeted prospecting, industry relationships, partner engagement, and expansion within established accounts
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, customer priorities, competitor activity, and data center market trends
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with internal teams across Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Service
- Support successful project execution, customer adoption, and long-term account satisfaction from initial engagement through delivery
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of direct, quota-carrying B2B sales experience in data center infrastructure, critical power, cooling, or related solutions
- Demonstrated data center infrastructure solution-selling experience involving one or more of the following:
- Critical power, UPS, power distribution, switchgear, or backup power systems
- Cooling, thermal management, liquid cooling, or heat-rejection technologies
- Energy storage, racks/enclosures, modular data centers, or infrastructure monitoring
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
- Experience selling to hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise data center operators, engineering firms, integrators, or contractors
- Proven ability to develop new business while managing, retaining, and expanding strategic customer accounts
Pay Range
USD $115,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure, redundancy, resiliency, and energy-efficiency requirements
- Established relationships within the data center owner/operator, engineering, contractor, integrator, or channel ecosystem
- Experience working within global or multi-regional customer environments
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and the ability to travel as customer needs require
